Senior Mechanical Engineer
Kurt Doiron is a senior mechanical engineer with over 12 years of experience in high tech industries. He is Yankee’s resident expert and specialist for Solidworks®. He has been involved in DARPA projects involving scroll development, micro-cogeneration and steam tribology. He has experience as a test engineer in flywheel energy storage systems and developed thermal solutions for a leading power converter manufacturer. Kurt is currently developing residential micro combined heat with backup power capabilities for a world class heating equipment manufacturer. Kurt received a B. S.M. E. from Western New England College. His hobbies include remodeling of his vintage home and marine engine mechanics, helping to keep the vessels of his friends and family in top running order.
