Engineering Manager for Mechanical Systems
Carl is an engineering manager for Yankee Scientific responsible for the successful completion of research and engineering development projects. Since 1973 he has applied his background in Mechanical and Computer Engineering as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Software Engineer, and Engineering Manager in the Military Hardware, Automotive, and Photographic industries. His engineering experiences have included thermal design of missile cooling systems, metal stamping tool and injection mold design, technical support to high volume manufacturing, industrial data acquisition system development, electronic imaging product development, and management of an information technology organization for a manufacturing organization with 500+ employees.
Carl has been with Yankee Scientific since 2001. At Yankee Carl has lead a team of engineers in the development of advanced electrical power generation systems, establishment of engine testing facilities at Yankee, and managed the startup of a consumer products manufacturing and field support organization. Carl’s background and interest focus his attention to the movement of product concepts thru design, development, and manufacturing into field application and support. Carl has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the now University of Massachusetts at Lowell and a BS in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University.
Carl leads his hometown recycling efforts and plays his guitar for the amusement of his pet dog Rodney.
